Heatwave intensity decreases in eastern and southern India
The intensity of the heat wave in eastern and southern peninsular India decreased slightly on Saturday. Relief from the scorching conditions in these regions is predicted after two days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported heatwave to severe heatwave conditions in parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, and Telangana.
